Splice is a Mac app developed by flew LLC. Installing or using it means you accept these terms.
If you do not agree to them, do not install the app. Throughout, “Splice” means the app and any updates we release.
What we store in order to license the app is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Buying Splice grants a license to use it. It is not a sale of the software.
You may install and run Splice on Macs you own or control, for personal or commercial use. A license covers up to 5 devices, and deactivating a device frees its slot.
Splice starts a 7 day free trial the first time you run it, and no card is needed to begin it.
Polar is our merchant of record and handles payment and any applicable taxes. We issue your license key and send it from a flew.gg address. The key identifies your purchase and must not be shared.
Purchases are final and non-refundable. The trial is provided so you can evaluate the app before buying.
Your license covers use of the app. It does not permit you to:
flew retains all rights to Splice, including its code, design, and name. Your license transfers none of them.
Splice is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
We do not warrant that the app will be error free or that it will insert into any particular app or browser. Splice depends on macOS APIs, including private ones Apple has not locked down, and Apple may modify, restrict, or remove them at any time without a replacement.
So far as the law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. Any liability we do have is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
Your license ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the app.
We may revise these terms as the app changes, and the effective date above will be updated when we do.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If any part of them is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
